Location Data: When you use the optional "I'm Inside" train tracking feature, we collect your GPS location to show your train’s approximate position. This data is:
- Collected only when you enable location-based features
- Processed temporarily and not permanently stored
- Automatically deleted after processing (within 24 hours)
- Used solely to estimate train position and improve real-time features
Device Information: We collect limited technical information to improve app performance, such as:
- Anonymous device identifier (randomly generated)
- Device model and operating system version
- App version and performance data
- Crash reports and error logs
Analytics Data: We use anonymized analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve stability. This includes:
- Screen views and navigation patterns
- Feature usage frequency
- Performance and error metrics
- Aggregated, non-personal search and usage data
Cached Data: The app stores train schedules and routes locally on your device for offline access. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded or shared externally.
Device Permissions
- Location: Required only for the "I'm Inside" feature. You can disable it anytime.
- Internet Access: Needed to fetch train schedules, routes, and live tracking data.
- Network State: Used to detect your connectivity and switch between online/offline modes.
The app works partially offline. Routes and schedules can be viewed offline after being downloaded once. Real-time train locations require an active internet connection.

Data Retention
- Location Data: Temporarily retained (up to 24 hours) for tracking, then deleted automatically.

- Cached Data: Stored locally on your device and deleted when the app is uninstalled or cache is cleared.
- Crash Reports: Retained up to 90 days to identify and fix technical issues.
No personal data or raw GPS logs are permanently stored on our servers.
